Just a quick simple card I made the other day while I was going through my not 1 but 2 bins of scraps and came up with this. I cut out with my Stampin Up tag punches and place a sliver sticker with the words "Thinking of You" and the 2 sliver flowers in the background on the front of the envelope.White rick rack between the paper and 2 large flowers with and orange brad. Left the card blank inside for now!!!

Cupcake Birthday Card

Cupcake Birthday Card
This is a quick card I made for my daughter's friends birthday, how cute it is. I used the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder for the main background on white card stock, just love how easy it makes the card look.Shiny red paper for the background and paper liner of the muffin also crimped the paper for a dimensional look. Brown card stock for the chocolate frosting(yummy), red and green card stock for the cherry. I pop dotted up the frosting and cherry with 2 different sizes. I chalk inked around the edges to give it some depth and glued on tiny beads for sprinkles. The inside of the card I used silver outline stickers the birthday collection ones on black card stock and red shiny paper. Also I added one to the envelope to give it a little something too!

After making this one I decided to make some more and more and more just to keep on hand for all the birthdays that are coming up in the next little bit. They seem to go fast around here. This cupcake pattern I had seen and used from a paper craft magazine .

Enjoy :) Anne

Home made Stencils

Home Made Stencils

This is my AHA moment...... home made stencils. This is a nice idea to make for yourself or even as gift for a friend, this one I made is for my sister. I used transparent layout 8 1/2" by 11" sheet and cut them into squares just bigger then the hole punches.I've cut the transparency overlay into 3 1/4" by 4 1/4" and the smaller ones into 2 1/16" by 2 3/4". Each One has been made larger to protect your projects from being covered in ink. Also made a quick folder and reference book to go along with the stencils. The reference book has the measurement's and pictures for a reminder of what stencils are in the folder. I've also included the plastic punch outs for embossing or tracing around. This is a great versatile tool that could be used for so many projects.

The pictures are a bit hard to see the stencils hence the black paper to hopeful
show up enough to make out what they are.
Thanks for peeking.
